Questrom School of Business GRE/GMAT waiver form

Thank you for your interest in the BU Questrom School of Business.  We are looking forward to receiving your application and learning more about you.

Applicants to our programs may request a GMAT/GRE waiver provided you meet at least one of the minimum qualifications listed below. The decision to grant the GMAT/GRE waiver is made at the discretion of the admissions committee.

You may not request a waiver if you have already taken the exam and requested your scores be sent to Boston University Questrom School of Business.

Please note: All candidates who are admitted to the Full-Time MBA program are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships at the time of admission. Because GMAT/GRE scores are one of the factors we take into consideration when making scholarship decisions, those who submit competitive GMAT/GRE scores will receive additional consideration.

On rare occasion, after granting a GMAT/GRE waiver, the admissions committee may ask a candidate to submit a GMAT or GRE score to aid in evaluating your candidacy for our programs.  If we need this additional information to complete our consideration of your candidacy, we will inform you after you have submitted the complete application and it has been initially reviewed.

To be considered for a waiver you must meet at least one of the following minimum qualifications. Please indicate which of the following qualifications you meet for GMAT/GRE waiver consideration (select the most applicable requirement):

Earned a master’s degree or other post-graduate degree (i.e., JD/MD/PhD)

Earned a professional or quantitative certification (i.e., CPA/CFA)

Majored in a quantitative field (i.e., Math, Physics, Engineering, Business)

Majored in a non-quantitative field with a GPA of 3.1 or higher if on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent of a 3.1 (B) or higher if on a different grade scale
